    Mariner Wealth Advisors is seeking an implementation data analyst to help support the onboarding of new firms.  This is a newly added role to support the aggressive growth plans of the company.  A successful candidate for this role will be comfortable working with large data sets, have a strong attention to detail and ‘Client First’ attitude, and the ability to quickly learn new software.

    Responsibilities

    • Ability to evaluate existing data structures to determine path forward in merging into the standard data structure. 
    • Execute data extraction and mapping that will facilitate ongoing data comparisons between systems.
    • Execute on any preparatory tasks to ensure data and system migration can occur. For example, initial setup of users in the system.
    • Review and mitigate data and/or logic discrepancies between legacy and standard data structure.
    • Format and import data into standard system.  Quality check and verify data imports.
    • Perform ongoing side by side comparisons and quality checks of data for the duration of each onboarding project.
    • Research any communicate any data discrepancies in a consumable manner for a business partner.
    • Develop strong business relationships with key stakeholders during onboarding process.
    • Maintain and produce process cards and any other applicable documentation needed.
    • Work directly with custodians and vendors to establish data feeds.
    • Initial setup of users in the system.
    • Ability to find more efficient ways to interact with data and continuously improve the process.
    • Work with the Mariner Wealth Advisors IT team to automate repeatable processes where possible. 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in either a business or technical field, such as business administration, accounting, finance, information systems, or economics.
    • Experience with portfolio management systems, such as Orion Advisor Services, Envestnet, Tamarac, Advent APX, Black Diamond, Addepar, or Portfolio Center, a plus.
    • Detail oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
    • Creative problem solving skills.
    • Able to work with large data sets and quickly learn new software systems.
    • Adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
