    Mariner Wealth Advisors’ Fixed Income team (previously Ascent Investment Partners, LLC) is an investment manager with over $850 million in assets. Our separately-managed accounts provide the foundation of clients’ long-term fixed income asset allocation.  Their objective is to carefully balance risk and return, building all-weather, customized portfolios designed to protect principal and provide steady income through various market environments.


    We are currently seeking a full-time Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst to provide trading and administrative support in our St Louis, MO office.


    • Monitoring and directing advisor and client communications and requests to team members
    • Assisting the investment team with internal reports and account maintenance
    • Working closely with traders to help facilitate execution of individual trades
    • Assisting with the processing of trades and morning trade reconciliation
    • Answering phones and general clerical work
    • Assisting with all other business functions as needed



    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Willingness to work toward CFA designation preferred

    Other Qualifications

    • 1-5yrs administrative, trade processing, or other investment experience, preferably with a buy-side firm
    • Experience with Salesforce, Bloomberg, Orion, and/or Investor Tools Perform a plus
    • Ability to represent the firm in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and within a team
    • Willingness to assist with a wide variety of tasks
    • Highly motivated, with wide-ranging intellectual curiosity
    • A positive attitude and sense of humor to build camaraderie within the office
