    Mariner Wealth Advisors is expanding our executive team with the addition of a COO to support our continuous growth. This dynamic leadership position will serve in support of the CEO to drive strategy and execution in the areas of operations, reporting, technology, integration and compliance, while working in close collaboration with the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Financial Officer. We are seeking a strong leader with a proven record of success building and growing operational teams in the wealth or asset management industry. Cultural fit is of highest priority for this position. Successful leaders at Mariner thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace change, champion innovation and process improvement, place a priority on communication and roll-up their sleeves when needed to support the team. We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for client service and developing associate talent to be part of our future growth strategy.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in a leadership position within the financial services industry
    • Strong executive presence that will drive strategy and execution for their team
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
    • Able to handle multiple tasks with appropriate sense of urgency
    • Highly collaborative with other leaders and teams
    • Service-minded with commitment to live Mariner’s “Client First. Associate Second.” mentality
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Relationship and results oriented
    • Effective at resolving conflict and engaging in negotiation with internal and external parties
    • Comfortable stepping in and leading various departments, if needed
