    As a result of significant growth, we are hiring a Client Advisor to join our office in Overland Park, KS.  The Client Advisor will manage client relationships supported by Mariner’s extensive referral programs. The Client Advisor is responsible for providing financial guidance to clients and assistance to our referral partners.



    • Lead the referral program client engagement process
    • Manage relationships as the primary point of contact
    • Coordinate and conduct client meetings on a daily basis
    • Problem solve and resolve common client issues
    • Retain and grow existing client relationships
    • Knowledge of systems for client reporting
    • Research technical issues for client accounts
    • Complete quarterly billing/performance reporting approvals
    • Prepare customized portfolio reports
    • Collaborate with portfolio managers
    • Identify potential opportunities for business development
    • Work with other departments to ensure accuracy of client information


    • 3+ years of prior experience working in financial services, preferably in an Advisor/Financial Consultant or like role
    • Sales support experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or another related field is preferred.
    • Series 65 (or completed within first 90 days of hire)
    • Strong understanding of the financial services industry and financial consulting responsibilities
    • Knowledge of Wealth Management including fee-based consulting, mutual funds, money manager programs, insurance, annuities, and financial planning is a plus
    • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
    • A positive attitude and high energy level
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
    • Demonstrated presentation, analytical, interpersonal, relationship management, written, and verbal skills
